Bordering the Brazil – Argentina border, the mighty Iguassu Falls are the widest waterfalls in the world, made up of 275 individual falls that form a semicircle that stretches 2.7 kilometers (1.6 miles). The falls can be viewed from both the Brazilian and the Argentinian side. The national park where the falls are located offers many activities, such as hiking, canoeing, rafting, bird watching and climbing. HALF DAY BRAZILIAN FALLS TOUR
 
Viewing the amazing Iguassu Falls from the Brazilian side offers unforgettable panoramic views. Upon arriving in the Parque Nacional do Iguaçu, you will start the walk on the paved pathway leading down to the water. The walk takes approximately 1 - 1 ½ hours when done at a leisurely stroll. Walking among the flora and fauna, there are various points along the way for photo opportunities. The walk concludes on a walkway raised above the rushing waters of the falls, providing you with a closer view where you feel the spray of cool water. Please note that the Brazilian national park is closed Monday mornings.
 
   
   
HALF DAY ARGENTINIAN FALLS TOUR
 
After crossing the border into Argentina for this awe-inspiring tour, you will enter the Iguazú National Park, home to approximately 70% of Iguassu Falls. The park’s open train will transport you through the forest to the first stop. You will arrive at the next station to walk along raised metal walkways above the water to the Devil's Throat Falls, the largest and most impressive of the 245 total waterfalls. The walkway traverses the waters and ends just before the drop off point for Devil´s Throat. A rush of adrenaline pumps through your veins as you not only see the falls up close, but feel the power of the rushing falls, and oftentimes the sprays of the water as well. The walk takes approximately 20 minutes each way, but additional time is needed for when you reach Devil’s Throat for viewing and photos.

From there, you will board the train to another stop will you will walk along the trails of the park. The paths put you in close contact with nature and include viewing platforms along the way to see the falls.
 
   
   
HALF DAY GRAN AVENTURA SAFARI
 
Following the half day tour of the Argentina side of the falls, you will walk to the water’s edge to board an inflatable motorized boat for an exciting adventure. The thrilling boat ride will take you to the base of the impressive falls and down the river. Be prepared to get wet!
 
   
   
HALF DAY ARGENTINIAN FALLS TOUR WITH VISIT TO THREE NATIONS BORDER
 
For this tour, you will cross the border into Argentina to see the falls from a closer angle. You will have the opportunity to walk the upper circuit pathway (about a 30-minute walk) through the forest with breath-taking views of the falls. The more strenuous lower circuit pathway (about a one and a half-hour walk) goes deeper into the forest, over streams and close to fauna. This trail includes a walkway down closer to the falls and the river, with platforms for viewing the falls. From there, you will travel to the spot where the borders of three nations (Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay) meet.
 
   
   
HALF DAY ITAIPU DAM TOUR
 
This tour includes a visit to the world’s largest hydroelectric power plant, a joint venture of Brazil and Paraguay on the Paraná River. Regarded as an enormous engineering accomplishment, the dam produces power for Brazil’s south, southwest, and central west regions. The tour includes a film presentation, followed by a visit to the dam.
 
   
   
HALF DAY TOUR TO FOZ TROPICANA BIRD PARK
 
This local bird park has an extensive collection of Brazilian birds and a butterfly park. It is an ecological sanctuary that combines ecotourism with environmental conservation. The park has 1,000 birds of 150 species, including species not only from Brazil, but Africa, Asia, and Australia a well. There is also an aviary that includes beautiful butterflies and humming birds and an area which includes reptiles found in the region.

After enjoying your dinner at this buffet style churrascaria (Brazilian BBQ), you will watch an international style show with music and dancing from the three nations that border the falls (Brazil, Paraguy and Argentina). DINNER & PLAZA FOZ SHOW AND TRANSFERS
 
You will depart the hotel for town to the Plaza Foz show. After dinner, you will enjoy a traditional music and dance performance in a cabaret-style setting.
